It is not necessary to leave children without supervision in the car if in it there are keys, especially if the key is inserted into the ignition lock. Children are accustomed to imitate adults and can insert a key into the ignition lock, and include ignition or start the engine. It can lead to traumas of children when using, for example, electric window regulators or to road accident if the car starts to move. |
Together with the car two keys and a plate with their code are given.
The main key (with a head of black color) approaches to all locks of the car and can be used for engine start. Together with its code it is necessary for representative of the Lexus company if it is required to make a twirl with the built-in transponder of an immobilizator to provide this key.
The additional key (with a head of gray color) approaches to all locks of the car, except the lock of a ware box, and can be used for engine start.
The code of keys should be copied on paper and to store it together with a plate in the reliable place inaccessible to strangers (only not in the car!).

For normal work of an immobilizator at engine start, do not allow, that the charm of the ignition key was over its head, and also that on one brelka there were some naturals transponder. In order to avoid damage of a transponder do not subject to his influence of strong mechanical loadings (deformations, blows), high temperatures, moisture and strong Ý/m fields. |
Naturals remote control (DU)
General information
For the Lexus RX-300 car it is possible to use to four naturals of DU. The arrangement and purpose of DU buttons is presented.
The alarm system can be included, holding the corresponding button during about 1 with, thus the ignition key should not be in the situation "ON". The alarm system is intended for scaring away of malefactors from the car. For alarm system switching off repeatedly press the corresponding button.
To press DU buttons follows slowly and surely. The radius of sure action of DU makes about 1 meter. In the cases listed below replacement of an element of a food of the DU block can be demanded:
- DU does not work;
- The radius of action of DU was excessively reduced;
- The indicator burns not brightly or does not light up at all.

Unlocking and locking of locks of doors, opening of windows of doors and roof hatch

- For locking of locks of all doors, including a back door, take a key from the lock of ignition and press the LOCK button. In confirmation of successful locking indexes of turns and quickly sound a sound signal should blink. If before locking of locks by means of DU any of doors it was closed leaky, the sound signal will join for 10 seconds.
- To be convinced of operation of locks repeatedly press the LOCK button – if locks are locked, indexes of turns should blink.
- For unlocking of the lock of a door of the driver press the UNLOCK button. For unlocking of locks of other doors repeatedly press this button, having waited for 3 seconds after the first pressing. In confirmation of unlocking of locks the sound signal should join quickly twice. If the switch of the salonny lamp is established in the situation "DOOR", at the same time with unlocking of locks for 15 seconds internal lighting (it usually does not occur if the ignition key is in the situation "ON") joins. If within 30 seconds after unlocking of locks the door is not open, there is an automatic locking of locks of all doors.
- For opening of windows of doors and the hatch of a roof hold pressed the UNLOCK button, being outside of the car. Moving of glasses and a cover of the top hatch stops right after a button otpuskaniye.

Loudness of a sound signal and time for door opening after unlocking of the lock can be regulated; it is also possible to disconnect a sound signal and the alarm system indexes of turns – address to the representative of the Lexus company for obtaining more detailed information on these questions. |
Replacement of an element of a food

- Prepare a new element of a food.
|
|
- Turn out the screw of fastening of a cover of a head of a key of DU and remove it in the arrow direction.
|
|
|
- Take out from a key head the DU block, remove its cover, take an old element of a food and establish new a positive pole up.
|
- Collect a key head in sequence, return sequence of dismantling. Do not forget to establish a sealing ring. After assembly check serviceability of functioning of DU – by pressing any of its buttons the indicator should light up.
