Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition

The corner of an advancing of ignition is defined by ECU and is not subject to manual adjustment.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a decorative cover of the engine, having turned out 3 nuts of its fastening and having removed its clamps.
  1. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature.
  1. Connect the OBD-II scanner to the DLC No. 3 socket, being guided by the instruction of the producer of the scanner.
  1. Connect a stroboscope clip to a wire conclusion.
  1. Increase engine turns to 2500 rpm approximately for 90 seconds and check idling turns – they should make 700 ± 50 rpm. Leave the engine to work at single turns.

At check of turns of idling should be satisfied the following conditions:

  • The engine should be heated-up;
  • The air purifier should be established, and air hoses and tubes should be reliably and are correctly connected;
  • All additional equipment should be switched off;
  • All vacuum lines should be reliably and are correctly connected;
  • Sockets of electroconducting of system of injection should be reliably connected;
  • Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition the Engine should meet the requirements of Specifications of Head;
  • AT should be established in neutral situation.
  1. If turns of idling do not correspond to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine, check the IAC valve and an airintaking path.
  1. To Peremknita contacts of TE1 and DLC No. 1 socket E1 also establish AT in neutral situation.
  1. Having shined with a stroboscope a scale on a cover of a belt of a drive of GRM, consider a corner of an advancing of ignition.
  1. Remove a crossing point from the DLC No. 1 socket and once again check a corner of an advancing of ignition.
  2. Compare the received values to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine.
  3. Disconnect a stroboscope and the OBD-II scanner.
  4. Establish a decorative cover of the engine.
