Removal, check and installation of the water pump

Bolts of fastening of the water pump

The water pump is located under a cover of No. 3 belts of a drive of GRM and fastens to the block of cylinders four bolts and two nuts.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Empty cooling system (see. The section Replacement of cooling liquid (OZh)).
  2. Remove a fairing of a windscreen and the top strut of an impellent compartment (see. Head Body).
  3. Remove a belt of a drive of GRM, its cogwheels and a roller No. 2 (see. Section Removal, check and installation of a belt of a drive of GRM of its natyazhitel, pulley and cogwheel of a cranked shaft, cogwheels of camshafts and intermediate rollers).
  4. Uncover No. 3 belts of a drive of GRM (see. Section Removal, dismantling, check, assembly and installation of a head of cylinders and its components).
  5. Turn out fixture of the water pump and remove it together with laying.
  6. Examine a control opening in the pump case on existence of leaks and if necessary replace the water pump.
  7. Rotating a roller of the water pump a hand, check smoothness and ease of a course of its bearing. If necessary replace the water pump.
  8. Having used a case, check components of a drive of GRM (see. Section Removal, check and installation of a belt of a drive of GRM of its natyazhitel, pulley and cogwheel of a cranked shaft, cogwheels of camshafts and intermediate rollers).
  9. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Use new laying of the pump, tighten fixture with demanded efforts.

At installation of laying do not oil it.
