Anticreeping system

Functioning principle

On all considered models the anticreeping system serially is established.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For activation of anticreeping system turn the ignition key in the situation "OFF" and take out it. The engine immobilizator will join, in confirmation to that the indicator of a condition of anticreeping system in the left lower part of the dashboard (No. 19 on an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard) will start to blink. Then close all doors and a cowl and lock doors by means of a key or DU (see. Door section). The indicator will cease to blink and will continuously burn within 30 seconds then again will start to blink, confirming activation of anticreeping system.
  2. If doors (including a back door) or a cowl are violently open (without key or DU use), and also if the wire is disconnected from the storage battery, the activated anticreeping system will include about a minute a horn (in a siren mode) and external lighting devices in a blinking mode. If after unlocking of one of doors not to insert a key into the ignition lock during operation of the alarm system, the lock of a door will automatically be locked.
  3. For switching off of the alarm system unlock the door lock by means of a key or DU, or include ignition.
  4. For deactivation of anticreeping system unlock any of doors by means of a key or DU.

Check

The detachment of wires from the storage battery can lead to deleting of information being in memory of the board computer.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open all windows and activate anticreeping system. Wait turning on of the indicator in a blinking mode.
  2. Now when unlocking the lock of one of doors from within, and also when opening a cowl the alarm system should turn on.
  3. At negative results of check address to the representative of the Lexus company for malfunction elimination.

Immobilizator of the engine

Immobilizator of the engine is intended for prevention of start of the engine by a key which is not corresponding to this car. At key installation in the ignition lock the transponder located in a head of a key, transfers to anticreeping system an electronic code. At discrepancy of the transferred code with a code which is storing in memory of anticreeping system, the engine it will not be possible to start. In confirmation of coincidence of codes the indicator of a condition of anticreeping system on the dashboard should go out.
