Establish on a radiator cover the special pump tester and, holding it at an angle not less the 30th hail. to the horizon, create constant pressure, making one pressing in not less, than 3 seconds. Make sure that passes air through the vacuum valve, otherwise replace a radiator cover.
|
- Under the same conditions create pressure of 0.9 ÷ 1.2 atm – the safety valve should open. If the valve does not open even at pressure of 0.75 atm, replace a radiator cover.
|
|
Check on leaks
|
|
- Fill a radiator with cooling liquid and establish on his mouth the pump tester. Warm up the engine to working temperature, create by means of the pump pressure of 1.2 atm and make sure that it does not fall. Otherwise check hoses of system of cooling, a radiator and the water pump on existence of leaks. If external leaks are not found, check the heater heat exchanger, the block and a head of cylinders. Eliminate leaks.

Check of fans
|
|
- Start the engine and make sure of turning on of fans at achievement of OZh of temperature the 98th hail. Otherwise replace Д/В No. of 1 ECT.

|
|

Empty system of cooling and remove Д/В No. 1 and No. of 2 ECT.

- By means of an ohmmeter make sure available conductivity between contacts of sensors No. 1 and No. 2 at temperature is higher respectively 98 or the 94th hail
. At temperature below 88 or the 83rd hail. respectively for Д/В No. 1 and No. 2 conductivity between their contacts should be absent.

- At unsatisfactory results of checks replace faulty Д/В.
- Establish Д/В, fill system of cooling of the engine and make sure of absence of leaks.

Check of the relay of fans
|
|
- Take from the relay block in an impellent compartment of the relay No. 1, No. 2 and No. of 3 fans (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
- By means of an ohmmeter make sure available conductivity between contacts 3 and 5 everyone the relay, and also of lack of conductivity between contacts 1 and 2 everyone the relay. Besides, conductivity
should be between contacts of 2 and 4 relays No. 2.

- Put tension of the battery to contacts 3 (+) and 5 (-) each relay (serially) and make sure available conductivity between contacts 1 and 2 everyone the relay. Besides, under these conditions conductivity
should be absent between contacts of 2 and 4 relays No. 2.
- If checks yielded unsatisfactory results, replace faulty relays.
