Instrumentations

Speedometer

The speedometer is located in the central part of a combination of devices and shows speed of movement of the car in km/h (miles/h).

In a rupture of the dial of a speedometer the run index is placed.

Run index

The index of run can work in one of three modes: the odometer (registers the general run of a vehicle from the moment of input it in operation) and one of two indexes of run from the moment of zeroing of indications. For switching between modes quickly press the corresponding button (No. 7) located to the left of the index. By each pressing modes will change in the following sequence: the odometer, the dumped counter A, the dumped counter B, the odometer etc.

Dumped counters of run work independently from each other and can be used, for example, for calculation of fuel consumption and for measurement of the passable distance. For a sbrasyvaniye of one of counters transfer the run index to a mode of its display, then press and hold the switching button between index modes.

Dumped counters of run are nulled at a detachment of wires from the storage battery.

Tachometer

The tachometer is to the right of a speedometer and shows frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine in thousand revolutions per minute.

The tachometer is intended for control over turns of the engine and for avoiding of operation of the engine on too low or too high turns (when the arrow reaches a red zone of a scale).

Index of a stock of fuel

The index of a stock of fuel is located in the left lower part of a combination of devices and serves for visual monitoring of a stock of fuel remaining in a tank.

The error of indications of the index of a stock of fuel is minimum, when the car occupies strictly horizontal situation, and increases at car movement on twisting or hilly roads. Functioning of the index does not depend on position of the ignition key. The label of "F" corresponds to a condition of complete filling, «E» – to an empty tank. Located to the right of To the/l dial with the image of a filling station informs the driver on need at the first possibility to make car refueling.

At a full devastation of a fuel tank MIL can light up.

Index of temperature of the engine

The index of temperature of the engine is located in the left top part of a combination of devices and serves for visual representation of temperature of cooling liquid of the engine. The index works only if the ignition key is in the situation "ON".

Moving of an arrow of the index to a mark of "H" indicates an overheat of the engine which can lead to its damage. In this case it is necessary to stop movement, to switch off To/in (if it was included) and to wait engine cooling. Check level of cooling liquid, check cooling system on existence of leaks if necessary eliminate them and add OZh.

Control lamps and indicators

The whole complex of control lamps and indicators by means of which the driver receives important information on serviceability/violation of functioning of the main units and car systems is built in assembly of a combination of devices of the car. Some To/l are built in the switches located on the dashboard (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard).

Below the list and the description To/l, the devices built in a combination is provided.

Light indicators of indexes of turns and alarm system. The speeded-up operating mode of indicators indicates possible failure of one of lamps of indexes of turns.

CRUISE — To/l темпостата. Burns at included темпостате and it is switched off at its deactivation. If in operating time темпостата To/l starts to blink, switch off and again include темпостат. If the blinking does not stop, and also if To/l does not join or does not die away, address on HUNDRED for the solution of this problem.

ABS — Given To/l serves for control of serviceability of functioning of ABS, quickly works at inclusion of ignition and in some seconds should die away. Refusal of a lamp of shutdown, and also its activation during movement testifies to violation of serviceability of functioning of ABS. The car should be driven away immediately on HUNDRED diagnostics for carrying out and performance of necessary regenerative repair.

ECT
PWR — Given To/l indicates AT work in the POWER mode.

ECT
SNOW — Given To/l indicates AT work in the SNOW mode.

O/D
OFF — Given To/l lights up at O/D mode switching off.

To/l low pressure of impellent oil, - lights up in case of pressure of the impellent oil insufficient for normal operation of the engine. If given To/l will light up during car movement, at the first possibility stop and muffle the engine. Check level of impellent oil and if necessary modify it. If at normal level of To/l oil all the same does not die away, address on HUNDRED.

To/l charging system, quickly works at inclusion of ignition and should die away some seconds later after implementation of start of the engine. Refusal of a lamp of shutdown testifies to malfunction existence in charging system. In this case check and if necessary adjust a tension of a driving belt of the generator. If a belt will pull correctly, malfunction consists in electroconducting of system of a charge. Address on HUNDRED for the solution of this problem.

To/l not fastened a seat belt of the driver, reminds that the driver forgot to be fastened by a seat belt. The indicator continues to burn until the belt will not be fastened. Turning on of this indicator is accompanied by a sound reminder which will sound within about six seconds.

BRAKE To/l of low level brake liquids/refusals brake system/indicator of raising of the parking brake. The indicator of raising of the parking brake turns on, if the ignition key is in the situation ON or START, and the parking brake is cocked. At an otpuskaniye of the parking brake the indicator should be switched off. Inclusion To/l low level of brake liquid occurs at ignition inclusion then To/l should go out. Otherwise it is necessary to check level of brake liquid in the tank, and also hydraulic lines of brake system on existence of leaks.

Movement on the car with faulty brake system is inadmissible.

Given To/l points to low level of fuel in a tank and reminds that follows as soon as possible will refuel.

To/l an open door joins, if at least one of doors of the car is not closed.

Given To/l serves for confirmation of inclusion of headlights.

Given To/l serves for confirmation of inclusion of a driving beam of headlights.

P, R, N, D, 2, L — Indicators of position of the lever of the AT selector are used are rowed vertically, to the left of a speedometer.

To/l refusals (MIL, «Check the engine») quickly works at inclusion of ignition and should die away some seconds later after implementation of start of the engine. Refusal of a lamp of shutdown, and also its activation during movement testifies to violation of serviceability of functioning of a control system by the engine.

To/l system of additional safety (SRS) lights up at ignition inclusion approximately for 6 seconds and should die away right after implementation of start of the engine. If it does not occur or if the lama continues to burn at the working engine, SRS system any of components is faulty (see. Section System of additional safety (SRS)). Address on HUNDRED for elimination of such malfunction.

If To/l malfunction of back lamps lights up at turning on of external lighting devices, it testifies that one of lamps of marker lights failed. If given To/l lights up by pressing a brake pedal, any lamp of stoplights failed.

AT OIL
TEMP — Given To/l indicates ATF overheat. If given To/l will light up during car movement, at the first possibility stop, transfer the AT selector lever to the situation "P" and let's work to the engine until To/l will not go out. Check level of ATF and if necessary modify it. If at normal level of ATF To/l all the same does not die away, address on HUNDRED.

Given To/l points to low level of liquid of washers of glasses.

TRAC
OFF — To/l of VSC system joins for some seconds at inclusion of ignition and in the absence of malfunctions in VSC system dies away. The blinking of this To/l testifies to malfunction of VSC. To/l VSC joins as well at compulsory switching off of system by means of the switch on the dashboard (No. 14 on an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard).

Given To/l lights up at VSC system operation, i.e. at detection of a proskalzyvaniye of one of wheels.
