Left podrulevy switch

Switching of operating modes of external lighting devices

Left podrulevy the switch is intended for switching of modes of functioning of headlights, the alarm system by a driving beam and managements of indexes of turns.

Switching of modes of headlights and parking light, and also switching off of headlights is made by means of handle rotation on the switch end:

At combination risks on the rotary handle with «OFF» inscription on the lever external lighting devices are switched off;
For inclusion of a parking light, illumination of registration plate, marker lights and illumination of the dashboard combine to risk on the rotary handle with horizontal line on the switch (it corresponds to the first fixed position of the handle at its turn from itself from the situation "OFF");
For inclusion in addition to the lighting devices listed in the previous paragraph, a passing or driving beam of headlights combine an arrow on the rotary handle with the pictogram on the switch (it corresponds to the second fixed position of the handle at its turn from itself from the situation "OFF");
For inclusion of automatic control by external lighting devices combine an arrow on the rotary handle with «AUTO» inscription on the switch (it corresponds to the third fixed position of the handle at its turn from itself from the situation "OFF").

At a car complete set headlights for movement during daylight hours (DRL), headlights will be included with low intensity even at the switch established in the situation "OFF" if the parking brake is released and the engine is started.

The automatic mode means inclusion and switching off of external lighting devices depending on illumination of the sensor located at the top of the left part of the dashboard. For nedyozhny operation of automatic equipment do not close this sensor.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For inclusion of a driving beam of headlights remove the lever from itself. Thus will light up To/l a driving beam of headlights. Pull the lever on itself for switching back in a mode of a passing beam of headlights.

For prevention of a discharge of the battery do not leave for a long time included headlights at the switched-off engine.

For signal giving by a driving beam of headlights pull left podrulevy the switch on itself, irrespective of position of the rotary handle on the switch end. The lever comes back to initial situation after its otpuskaniye.
For inclusion of the index of the left or right turn at the included ignition pull the lever of the podrulevy switch respectively down or up. In a flashing mode the indicator of inclusion of the index of the corresponding turn in a combination of devices thus lights up. After completion of turn the switch automatically comes back to neutral situation, however, if it for any reason did not occur, switch off the turn index manually, having moved it to average situation.
At evolution it is possible to use evolution indexes for which inclusion it is necessary to pull slightly the switch up or down, without leading up against the stop, and to hold him in this situation. After an otpuskaniye the switch will automatically come back to starting (average) position.
For inclusion/switching off of fog lights move a ring with the pictogram on the switch so that risk on a ring it was leveled with an inscription according to «ON» or «OFF» on the lever.

Right podrulevy switch

In order to avoid damage of the mechanism of screen wipers it is not necessary to include them if cleared glass dry, and also to move them hands. PERFORMANCE ORDER

Moving the switch lever up and down, it is possible to choose operating modes of cleaners of a windscreen and to switch off them:
- In the situation "OFF" (most top) screen wipers are switched off;
- In the situation "INT" (the second from above) screen wipers are included in an interval mode (at the corresponding complete set);
- In the situation "LO" (the second from below) screen wipers are included in a constant operating mode with normal speed;
- In the situation "HI" (lowermost) screen wipers are included in a constant operating mode with the increased speed.
For a choice of duration of intervals of work of a screen wiper (at the chosen interval mode) turn a ring on the switch from itself or to itself respectively for increase or interval reduction.
For management of a cleaner and a washer of glass of a door of a back use the rotary switch on the lever end, combining risk on the rotary switch with pictograms on the lever:
- In extreme top situation the cleaner will work together with a washer;
- In the situation corresponding to an inscription of "ON" on the lever, the cleaner will work in a normal mode;
- In the situation corresponding to an inscription of "INT" on the lever, the cleaner will work in an interval mode;
- In the situation corresponding to an inscription of "OFF" on the lever, the cleaner is switched off.
In extreme bottom situation the washer of glass of a door of a back joins;
If glasses are polluted, use stekloomyvatel. For inclusion of a washer of a windscreen pull the lever of the podrulevy switch which was in the situation "OFF" on itself and release it, - washing liquid will arrive on glass and a screen wiper will work 2-3 times.

Governing bodies functioning темпостата

Use темпостата at intense movement (for example, in the city), on slippery and twisting roads, and also in other road situations which can compel to change speed, can lead to control loss over driving. In order to avoid casual activation темпостата do not leave it included if it is not used.

Tempostat is intended for maintenance of constant speed of the car (not lower 40 km/h) needlessly to hold a foot on a gas pedal.

The switch of management of functioning темпостата settles down on a steering wheel on the right (see the illustration Arrangement and purpose of switches of management as the provision of forward seats).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

For activation темпостата press a switch end face. At activation темпостата lights up corresponding To/l in a combination of devices. For deactivation press a switch end face once again.
For installation of constant speed of movement activate темпостат, disperse the car till demanded speed (not less than 40 km/h) and pull the switch on itself. Release at demanded speed the switch and a gas pedal.

Function of installation of constant speed cannot be activated earlier, than after two seconds from the moment of pressing the main switch темпостата. On abrupt liftings/descents when using темпостата the car can reduce/increase speed. For temporary increase in speed (for example, when overtaking) press a gas pedal; after an otpuskaniye of a pedal of gas earlier chosen constant speed will automatically be established.

For cancellation of the established constant speed pull the switch up, or press a brake pedal. Cancellation of the established speed occurs automatically if speed of the car falls below 40 km/h, or on 16 km/h becomes lower than the established constant speed.

If cancellation of the established speed occurs automatically under the conditions which have not been listed above, address on HUNDRED for elimination of this malfunction.

For increase/reduction of the current established speed execute one of the following sequences of actions:
- Pull the switch from itself (for acceleration) or to itself (for delay) and hold it. After achievement of necessary speed release the switch.
- Quickly pull the switch from itself / to itself and release it. Speed respectively will increase or will decrease approximately by 1.6 km/h and will be brought in memory темпостата, as new constant speed.
Disperse/brake the car till demanded speed and quickly pull the switch from itself / to itself.

If difference of the current speed from the speed established in the ways again described above makes less than 5 km/h, changes are not accepted.

For return to established earlier constant speed after its cancellation pull the switch from itself.

Horn switch

The button of inclusion of a horn is built in a stupichny part of a steering wheel.

Clamp of a tilt angle of a steering column

The steering column should be adjusted so that the steering wheel was opposite to a thorax of the driver. Situation at which the steering wheel is opposite to a face of the driver, is wrong as reduces protective functions of a forward safety cushion of the driver.

It is not necessary to regulate an inclination of a steering column during driving since control over driving can be thus lost.

For change of a tilt angle of a steering column pull up the clamp located under it, establish a steering column in demanded situation and release a clamp to fix it. Check reliability of fixing of a steering column, having pulled a steering wheel up-down.

The governing bodies located under a combination of devices

Governing bodies under a combination of devices are located at the left and to the right of a steering column.

To the right of a steering column the switch of ignition and blocking of a steering wheel settles down; at the left the switch of adjustment of external rear-view mirrors, a regulator of intensity of illumination of devices, the indicator of anticreeping system and the control panel by memory of settings of provision of a driver's seat (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard) are placed.

The indicator of anticreeping system and the control panel are considered by memory of settings of provision of a driver's seat above (see respectively Sections Anticreeping system and Adjustment of seats and head restraints); functioning of a regulator of intensity of illumination of devices clearly from its name therefore only the switch of ignition and a regulator of external rear-view mirrors below are described.

Switch of ignition and blocking of a steering wheel

At movement of the car it is not necessary to operate with the ignition switch, podrulevy switches and the switches located under a combination of devices, pushing hands between spokes of a steering wheel since it can lead to control loss over the car.

Switch of ignition and blocking of a steering wheel

The ignition switch (the ignition lock) is located to the right of a steering column and has the following four situation:

LOCK — This position of the switch of ignition is used for blocking of a steering wheel and ignition key extraction. To turn the ignition key in the situation "LOCK", transfer the sector lever to the situation "P", press on a key in the situation "ACC" and turn on itself (counter-clockwise).

Blocking of a steering wheel cannot replace the parking brake. When leaving car on a parking move the AT selector lever to the situation "P", completely cock the parking brake and switch off the engine.

ACC — In this situation is unblocked a steering wheel and the car electric equipment can be used.

When leaving ignition key in the situation "ACC" when opening a door of the driver the sound signal, warning that the key is in the ignition lock joins.

ON — Normal position of the ignition key after engine start. Before engine start at key turn in this situation it is necessary to check short-term operation of the control lamps which have been built in a combination of devices.

Do not leave the ignition key in the situation "ACC" at the switched-off engine since thus there is a fast discharge of the battery.

START — Is used for engine start. When keeping ignition key in this situation the starter will scroll the engine. After an otpuskaniye the key comes back to the situation "ON".

Do not turn the ignition key in the situation LOCK or ACC at car movement since it can lead to controllability loss by the car and violation of functioning of brakes.

Regulator of external rear-view mirrors

The regulator of external rear-view mirrors allows to change the provision of external mirrors and works at the positions "ACC" and "ON" of the ignition key. For switching between adjustment of the right or left mirror move the lever located over the switch, respectively aside, designated «R» or «L». For change of provision of a mirror press the arrows of the corresponding direction put on a 4-item regulator.

External rear-view mirrors can be put (manually), for example, for a parking at limited space.

Governing bodies and the salon equipment on the central console

On the central console of the car there is the greatest number of bodies of its management and the salon equipment.

It is possible to carry the switches located on forward section of the console, and also the lever of the selector of AT modes to governing bodies. The description only switches below is provided, - the description of an audiosystem and systems of heating and To/in is provided in Devices of ensuring comfort; the description of the lever of the selector is provided in Receptions of operation and auxiliary systems. The multipurpose display, ware boxes, coasters, an ashtray, the lighter belong to the equipment of salon and nests of selection of capacity.

Switch of the alarm system

The switch of the alarm system (see No. 5 on an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard) is located at the left on the central console and (triangle) is designated by a sign of the alarm system. The switch works in any position of the lock of ignition. For turning on of the alarm system press the switch button; for switching off – press the button once again.

Switch of heating of glass of a door of a back

The switch of heating of glass of a door of a back and external rear-view mirrors (see No. 12 on an illustration Governing bodies and control of systems of heating and To/in) is located on the control panel a heater and To/in the control unit a heater and К/В. The heater is intended for condensate and hoarfrost removal. If at a window the thick snow layer was formed before including heating, clear snow. Inclusion and switching off of a heater is made by pressing the specified switch. For heater inclusion the ignition key should be in the situation "ON". At inclusion of heating works corresponding To/l, located over the switch. The heater is automatically switched off after 15 minutes of work, and also at ignition switching off.

In order to avoid damage of threads of an incandescence of a heater it is not necessary to apply sharp subjects, and also abrasive detergents to purification of glass of a door of a back. For prevention of a fast discharge of the battery it is not necessary to include a heater at the switched-off engine.

Switches of heating of seats

Switches (see No. 11 on an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard) heating of seats are intended for inclusion and switching off of heating of a seat of the driver (the left switch) and the forward passenger (the right switch). For heater inclusion the ignition key should be in the situation "ON". At inclusion of heating works To/l, built in the switch.

Switch of AT modes

The switch of AT modes (see No. 13 on an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard) has three situation which appointment is given below:

«PWR» — This mode is used for sports style of driving at which fast acceleration is required. AT is switched to raising transfers at higher speed of the car.

«ECT» — Is the normal operating mode of AT recommended for usual driving.

«SNOW» — This mode is intended for a troganiye from a place in sand or dirt, in snow or on ice. AT starts to work with the 2nd transfer.

In confirmation of inclusion of the PWR or SNOW mode lights up corresponding To/l in a combination of devices (see. Kombinitsy's section of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and indicators).

Lighter and ashtray

Do not hold the lighter pressed after he is ready to use since it can lead to its overheat; for the same reason the lighter should be taken from its nest if it automatically did not come back to a starting position in 30 seconds after inclusion.

To use the lighter, press it and release. After the lighter will heat up to necessary temperature, it will automatically return to a starting position. For lighter use the ignition key should be in the situation "ACC" or "ON".

It is not necessary to use an ashtray for storage of any things since at contact with them zazhzhyonny cigarets or matches there can be a fire.

The ashtray is located in a forward part of the console between seats. For using an ashtray press its cover. To take an ashtray, pull it up.

Nests of selection of capacity

Nests of selection of capacity are intended for connection of the additional equipment (the compressor, the vacuum cleaner etc.) and function, if the ignition key establishment in the situation "ON" or "ACC".

For prevention of failure of a safety lock, use the additional equipment calculated on tension 12 In and consuming 12 no more than 120 W. If nests of selection of capacity are not used, close their covers to prevent short circuit at hit of extraneous subjects in them.

Ware box in the console between seats

The ware box located in the console between seats has two offices, opening independently from each other. For opening pull for the handle forward.

Coasters

It is not necessary to use a coaster during car movement since at failure or sharp braking the subjects established in coasters can be at the bottom of a trauma of the driver and passengers. Especially it is not necessary to put in coasters not closed capacities with hot liquids at car movement since at a possible razbryzgivaniye of liquid the driver can burn and run away the car.

Coasters with adjustment of diameter take place in the console between forward seats. It is possible to establish forward coasters in any of sections of the ware box located in the console between seats, - for this purpose simply insert a coaster into grooves in a lateral wall of a ware box.

Back coasters are built in the top cover of the console between back seats.

Multipurpose display

The multipurpose display (see No. 7 on an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of elements of management on the dashboard) is intended for display of different information. The description of operation of the display below is provided in only a mode of display of time, temperature and data темпостата. Modes of display of data To/in and audiosystems are described in appropriate sections of the Device of ensuring comfort.

The external temperature — Is displayed constantly at the included ignition under «OUTSIDE TEMP» inscription on the display. The range of measurement makes from-30 to the +50th hail.

Time — Is displayed, when the ignition key is in the situation "ACC" or "ON". 4 modes of display of time switching between which is made by means of CLOCK button pressing are provided.

Modes of display of time

1 — a 12-hour format
2 — a 24-hour format
3 — the Mode of installation of time (the indicator blinks)
4 — the Mode of installation of an alarm clock (the indicator blinks)

After a detachment of wires from the storage battery time 1:00 is established.

For installation of time choose the corresponding mode (3), enter the current value of hours and minutes, operating with the buttons located under inscriptions according to «H» and «M» in the lower part of the display, and in summary press the CLOCK button. For time installation on a signal broadcasted, expose minutes in 00 value and press the CLOCK button during reception of a signal of time. For installation of an alarm clock choose the corresponding mode (4), enter the current value of hours and minutes, operating with the buttons located under inscriptions according to «H» and «M», in the lower part of the display, and in summary press the button under a bell symbol on the display, - about hours the bell symbol should light up. The alarm clock works every day at the scheduled time. For a stop of a signal of an alarm clock press the CLOCK button. For cancellation of an alarm clock press the button under a bell symbol on the display in a mode of installation of time of an alarm clock.

Data темпостата — Are displayed at activated темпостате under «CRUISE INFORMATION» inscription. Display of these four types switching between which is made by means of INFO button pressing is provided. The mode chosen before switching off of ignition, gets out at the subsequent activation темпостата.

Modes of display of data темпостата

1 — movement Time from the moment of engine start (no more than 12 hours)

3 — Average fuel consumption
4 — the Current fuel consumption

The mode of display of time of movement is accompanied by "E/T" signature.

The mode of display of average speed of movement is accompanied by "AVG MPH" or «AVG km/h» inscriptions; information is updated each 10 seconds. Average speed pays off proceeding from the passable distance and time from the moment of engine start; for dumping of counters hold the INFO button within more than 1 second.

The mode of display of average fuel consumption is accompanied by "AVG MPG" or «AVG L/100km» inscriptions; information is updated each 10 seconds. Average fuel consumption pays off proceeding from the passable distance and amount of the spent fuel from the moment of engine start; for dumping of counters hold the INFO button within more than 1 second.

The mode of display of the current fuel consumption is accompanied by "MPG" or «L/100km» inscriptions; information is updated each 2 seconds. The current fuel consumption pays off proceeding from the passable distance and amount of the spent fuel in 2 seconds.

Governing bodies and the equipment of salon located on a ceiling

Antisolar peaks and cosmetic mirrors

Antisolar peaks are located over a windscreen, on a ceiling at the left and on the right and are intended for prevention of dazzle by direct sunshine. Peaks are equipped with cosmetic mirrors access to which opens after an otkidyvaniye up a protective cover.

For use of an antisolar peak lower it, if necessary turn sideways, having liberated from a clamp, or put forward extending zaslonka.

Internal rear-view mirror

Before a trip it is necessary to adjust an internal rear-view mirror, turning it so that in its center the center of a window of a door of a back was visible. Thus the mirror should be in a day mode.

For switching between night and day modes move the lever located behind a mirror, respectively to itself or from itself.

On the models equipped with a rear-view mirror with possibility of automatic brightness control, for switching between day and automatic modes the button located on its forward panel serves. At inclusion of a night mode brightness of light of headlights of the cars moving behind, will be less, than in a day mode, however at the same time image sharpness decreases also.

On the models equipped with a rear-view mirror with possibility of automatic brightness control, at each inclusion of ignition the automatic mode is established.

Salonnye lamps

Lamps are located by Salonnye on a ceiling in the central and back part of salon and cope 3-позиционым (with the provisions "OFF", "DOOR" and "ON") the switch which has been built in the case of the lamp.

Purpose of position of the switch following:

«OFF» — the Lamp remains included even in case of door opening;

«DOOR» — When opening any door the lamp will join, and when closing – to be switched off approximately in 15 seconds (at the switched-off ignition);

«ON» — the Lamp is included constantly irrespective of, doors are open or closed.

The lamp will be switched off automatically, if:

All doors are closed, and the ignition key is in the situation "ACC" or "ON";
The ignition key is in the situation "ACC" or "ON", and the lamp is switched on;
All doors are locked, and the lamp is switched on;
One of doors is closed and locked from within, and all other doors are locked.

The lamp for reading and a ware box in the ceiling console

The lamp for reading is located on the ceiling console in a forward part of salon and copes the switch located to the right of it (on models without the roof hatch - at the left).

The ware box in the ceiling console is intended for storage of subjects in gross weight no more than 60 гр.

Do not store in this ware box flammable subjects since in a sunny weather air in it strongly heats up.

The switches located on doors

Procedure of opening/closing of windows of doors outside by means of a key is described in the Section Glasses of doors.

Do not allow children to play with switches of window regulators since it can lead to a trauma. Before closing a window, make sure that in a window aperture there are no subjects which can interfere with its closing.

Switches of management are built in all doors by a window regulator, and in a driver's door the main block management of window regulators by means of which it is possible to operate windows of all doors is established. For functioning of window regulators with the electric drive it is necessary, that ignition was included.

Driver's control unit window regulators

For prevention of damage of the mechanism of window regulators it is not necessary to open or close at the same time more than two windows. It also will prolong service life of a safety lock of the electric drive of window regulators.

Window regulators has the function preventing a jamming of subjects, being at its closing – glass after feeling of an obstacle will start to fall by glass ways. Nevertheless, do not put out the head and hands in a window, since function of prevention of a jamming can not work, or not manage to work before receiving a trauma.

For opening of a window pull up a forward part of the corresponding switch on a half of its course. For closing of a window press a forward part of the switch on a half of its course. By full procrastination/pressing of the switch glass will rise/will fall completely. For a stop of moving of glass slightly influence the switch in the direction, the return to a glass course, and release the switch.

Besides four switches of opening and closing of windows, in the block of a driver's door the switch of blocking of window regulators of passenger doors is established. At the included blocking it is possible to operate only window regulators of a driver's door. The indicators which have been built in switches of window regulators inform the driver on possibility of opening/closing of a window of the corresponding door.

Ware boxes

Unlocking and locking of a ware box opposite to a place of the forward passenger

Besides the ware boxes located in the central and ceiling console, the salon of the car is equipped with the ware boxes located opposite to a seat of the forward passenger, in the lower left part of the dashboard, and also in the right back part of a luggage compartment.
