Removal and driveshaft installation

Driveshaft components

1 — Forward section of the driveshaft

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put adjusting labels on a forward flange and on the hinge.
  1. Give 4 nuts and remove bolts and washers.
  2. Remove assembly of forward section of the driveshaft, trying not to damage an epiploon.
  3. To Zakuporta an opening in AT to prevent leakages of oil.
  4. Squeeze out a pedal of a brake and hold her in this situation.
  5. Turn out 6 connecting bolts on a half of turn.

Fill in the hinge rags that it did not concern a cover.

  1. Put adjusting labels on a back flange and on the hinge.
  2. Give 4 nuts and remove bolts and washers.
  3. Turn out bolts of fastening of support and remove assembly of the central and back sections of the driveshaft.
  4. Put labels on connection of the central and back sections of the driveshaft.

Do not put a label with a chisel.

  1. Completely turn out 6 connecting bolts, remove two washers and divide the central and back sections of the driveshaft.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Join the central and back sections of the driveshaft, having leveled the adjusting labels put on them at separation.
  2. Establish two washers and tighten by hand 6 connecting bolts.
  3. Temporarily establish the central basic bearing.
  4. Level the labels put at removal on the back hinge and on back differential.
  5. Tighten 4 bolts with effort of 74 Nanometers.
  6. Take out from AT a cap and establish a holder.
  7. Level the labels put at removal on the forward hinge and on intermediate section of the driveshaft.
  8. Tighten 4 bolts with effort of 74 Nanometers.
  9. Squeeze out a pedal of a brake and having asked the assistant to hold her, tighten connecting bolts with effort of 27 Nanometers.
  1. Make sure that all hinges of the driveshaft are focused.
  1. At the unloaded car adjust distance between the back party of a cover and shaft.
  1. At the unloaded car adjust distances between end faces of basic bearings and end faces of support.
  1. Tighten bolts of fastening of support with effort of 37 Nanometers.
  2. Make sure that axes of support are perpendicular driveshaft axes.
