Checks and AT adjustments

Road checks

Road checks it is necessary to carry out a hail at ATF 50 ÷ 80 temperature.

Mode "D" check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "D" and completely squeeze out a gas pedal.
  2. Compare speeds of gear shifting with 1 on O/D to requirements of Specifications of Head Automatic transmission and interaxal differential.

Conditions of a ban of switching on an O/D broadcast: OZh temperature no more 60th hail., the difference of speed of the car the every speed темпостата makes 10 km/h; conditions of a ban of blocking of an O/D broadcast: the coupling pedal, OZh temperature no more the 60th hail is squeezed out.

  1. Make sure of absence of unusual noise and vibrations at movement in the blocked mode "D" or on an O/D broadcast.
  2. Make sure of lack of pushes and proskalzyvaniye when using kickdown function.
  3. Moving in a mode "D" on an O/D broadcast with invariable speed (when blocking) 60 km/h, slightly press a pedal of gas and check that turns of the engine do not change sharply. Appreciable jump of turns of the engine indicates malfunction of blocking.

Mode "2" check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "2" and completely squeeze out a gas pedal.
  2. Compare speed of switching with 1 on the 2nd transfer to requirements of Specifications of Head Automatic transmission and interaxal differential.

In a mode "2" switching on an O/D broadcast is not provided.

  1. Check braking by the engine, having released a gas pedal at movement in a mode "2" on the 2nd transfer.
  2. Make sure of absence of unusual noise at acceleration and delay, and also in lack of pushes at gear shifting.

Mode "L" check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "L" and completely squeeze out a gas pedal.
  2. Make sure that AT is not switched to the 2nd transfer.
  3. Check braking by the engine, having released a gas pedal at movement in a mode "L".
  4. Make sure of absence of unusual noise at acceleration and delay.

Check of the R and P modes

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Transfer the AT selector lever to situation "L" and completely squeeze out a gas pedal. Make sure available pro-slippings.

Before this check check, that about the car there were no people and obstacles.

  1. Stop the car on a bias more the 5th hail. and after switching in the mode "P" release the parking brake. Make sure of a car immovability.

Checks and adjustments of switching of modes

Check and adjustment of draft of switching of AT modes

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Peremezheny of the lever of the selector of AT modes from the situation "N" in other provisions switching should be carried out smoothly, and the indicator of the chosen mode should coincide with the relevant position of the lever. If it does not occur, adjust a drive of a choice of AT modes as it is described below.
  1. Give a nut of fastening of draft of switching of AT modes and carefully extend draft back.
  1. Establish labels on the lever of draft of switching of AT modes in the situation "N".
  1. Establish the lever of the selector of AT modes in the situation "N" and holding it slightly inclined to the situation "R", tighten a nut with effort of 13 Nanometers.
  2. Start the engine and make sure that the car moves forward at a choice of a mode "D" and back – at a mode "R" choice.

Situation "P" "/N" adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Weaken bolts of fastening of the sensor of the situation "P" "/N" and transfer the selector lever to the situation "N".
  1. Level a groove with the neutral line.

  1. Holding Д/В in this situation, tighten bolts of its fastening with effort of 5.4 Nanometers.

Check of blocking of switching

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure tension between contacts of the module of blocking of switching and compare the received values to the table.

Do not separate the electroconducting socket.


  1. Separate the socket Ý/m the valve of blocking of the ignition key and measure resistance between its contacts. If the measured value does not lie in the range of 12.5 ÷ 16.5 Ohm, replace Ý/m the valve.
  1. Put to contacts Ý/m the valve of blocking of the ignition key tension of the battery and make sure available noise from the valve. Otherwise replace Ý/m the valve.

Other checks

So-called "Stall-test", check of time of a delay of switching and pressure check belong to other checks of AT in the AT hydraulic lines. Data for carrying out checks are provided in Specifications of Head Automatic transmission and interaxal differential.
