Removal, dismantling, check, assembly and installation of the oil pump and case pallet

Removal

Installation sites of the oil pump and the pallet of a case are specified illustrations the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a windscreen fairing (see. Head Body).
  2. Remove the top strut of an impellent compartment (9 on an illustration the Components which are subject to removal for access to a drive of GRM) (see. Head Body).
  3. Lower impellent oil (see. Section Replacement of impellent oil and oil filter).
  4. Remove a forward right wheel and a loker.
  5. Remove the generator (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
  6. Remove the To/in compressor (see. Head of System of cooling of the engine, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
  7. Remove forward section No. 2 of an exhaust pipe (see. Section 8 and No. 19 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the engine).
  8. Turn out two nuts and remove the catalytic converter.
  9. Remove a belt of a drive of the pump GUR and its tension plate (see. Head the Suspension bracket and a steering) and No. 3 on an illustration the Components which are subject to removal for access to a drive of GRM).
  10. Remove a belt of a drive of GRM and its rollers (see. Section Removal, check and installation of a belt of a drive of GRM of its natyazhitel, pulley and cogwheel of a cranked shaft, cogwheels of camshafts and intermediate rollers).
  11. Uncover No. 3 belts of a drive of GRM (No. 10 on an illustration Components of installation of final collectors, sensors and electroconducting).
  12. To/in compressor arm (No. 19 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders).
  13. Turn out 10 bolts and two nuts, accurately cut an edge laying between sections of the pallet of a case and remove the bottom section of the pallet (No. 25 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders).
  14. Turn out a bolt and two nuts and remove a maslozabornik (No. 24 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders).
  15. Remove the bottom cover of a cavity of a driving disk then turn out 19 bolts and remove the top section of the pallet of a case, having if necessary hooked it a screw-driver.

  1. Remove from the top section of the pallet a maslootrazhatelny plate.
  2. Remove the CKP sensor.
  1. Turn out 9 bolts of fastening of the oil pump (No. 16 on an illustration the Components interfaced to the block of cylinders) and remove it together with a sealing ring, having if necessary hooked from below a screw-driver.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out a stopper and remove a spring with the reduktsionny valve.
  2. Turn out 10 screws and uncover the pump then take rotors.
  3. Grease the reduktsionny valve with impellent oil and lower its adjusting opening – the valve should fall to an opening under the weight. Otherwise replace assembly of the oil pump.
  4. Lay rotors in the pump case labels up and check thickness of a gap between them and the top plane of an adjusting nest of rotors, and also between a conducted rotor and a nest wall. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine and if necessary replace assembly of the oil pump.
  5. Measure a gap between rotors and compare it to requirements of Specifications of Head the Engine. If necessary replace assembly of rotors.
  6. If necessary replace an epiploon of a cranked shaft.
  7. Assembly of the oil pump is made upside-down. Tighten a stopper with effort of 49 Nanometers.

Installation

After drawing of hermetic of a detail it is necessary to connect within no more than 3 minutes. Otherwise clean off old and put new hermetic.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully clear of dirt and the remains of prokladochny materials all acting in film components.
  1. Put on a flange of the oil pump the hermetic roller (No. 08826-00080 according to the Toyota/Lexus catalog) with thickness of 2 ÷ 3 mm.
  1. Lay a new sealing ring of the oil pump on the block of cylinders, enter into gearing a leading gear wheel of the pump with cranked shaft and pull the oil pump over a cranked shaft. Tighten bolts of fastening of the oil pump with demanded efforts.
  2. Establish the CKP sensor and fix a maslootrazhatelny plate to the top section of the pallet of a case.
  1. Put on the top section of the pallet of a case the hermetic roller (No. 08826-00080 according to the Toyota/Lexus catalog) with thickness of 4 ÷ 5 mm. Tighten bolts of fastening of the top section of the pallet of a case with demanded efforts.
  1. Establish the bottom cover of a cavity of a driving disk and a maslozabornik.
  1. Put on the bottom section of the pallet of a case the hermetic roller (No. 08826-00080 according to the Toyota/Lexus catalog) with thickness of 4 ÷ 5 mm. Tighten bolts and nuts of fastening of the bottom section of the pallet of a case with demanded effort.
  1. Establish all acting in film components in sequence, return to an order from dismantle. Tighten fixture with demanded efforts.
  2. Fill impellent oil, start the engine and check it on leakages of oil.
