Removal and engine installation, check of support

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove protection of a case.
  2. Empty systems of cooling and engine greasing (see. Sections Replacement of cooling liquid (OZh) and Replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter).
  3. Remove a cowl and a windscreen fairing (see. Head Body).
  4. Remove the storage battery together with her holder (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
  1. Remove a decorative cover of the engine.
  1. Remove air purifier assembly (see. Section Removal and air purifier installation).
  2. Remove the activator темпостата (No. 4 on an illustration the Components which are subject to removal for access to a drive of GRM).
  3. Remove the top strut of an impellent compartment (see. Head Body).
  4. Separate the following components:
  5. Socket and collar of electroconducting of the generator;
  6. Two tires of grounding from the right wheel arch;
  7. The grounding tire from the left wheel arch;
  8. The socket of the filter of noise from the left wheel arch;
  9. Negative wire from the battery;
  10. Two sockets from the block of the relay and safety locks in an impellent compartment;
  11. Hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from the air chamber;
  12. Heater hoses from the inlet pipeline of a branch pipe of giving of OZh;
  13. Fuel submitting hose from a fuel tube;
  14. Cable of a drive of a butterfly valve from the throttle case;
  15. Purge hose from assembly of the valve of decrease in toxicity of OG;
  16. Two vacuum hoses from the vacuum ACIS chamber;
  17. The top hose of a radiator from a water waste branch pipe;
  18. The bottom hose of a radiator from a submitting tube of system of cooling;
  19. Two hoses of cooling of ATF from two cabins of transmission;
  20. Remove ECM (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
  21. Turn out two nuts of fastening of the holder of a plait of electroconducting of the engine to a partition of an impellent compartment and extend a plait.
  22. Remove the generator (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
  23. Remove the To/in compressor (cm the Head of System of cooling of the engine, heating, ventilation and air conditioning).
  24. Disconnect a cable of switching of AT modes from transmission.
  25. Turn out on two nuts of fastening of forward section No. 2 of an exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter and to forward section of an exhaust pipe then remove section No. 2 together with two laying (No. No. 17-19).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out two nuts of fastening of forward section of an exhaust pipe (No. 18) to a final collector of the right number of cylinders, and also two bolts and two nuts of its fastening to the central section of an exhaust pipe. Remove forward section of an exhaust pipe together with two laying.
  2. Remove a loker of the right wing.
  3. Disconnect racks of the stabilizer of a forward suspension bracket (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering).
  4. Remove kardanny, intermediate and power shafts (see. Head Transmission line).
  5. Disconnect vacuum hoses from a forward stretcher, disconnect the socket and a collar of electroconducting of VSV of management of an engine support, turn out the screw and remove VSV.
  6. Disconnect GUR hoses from the tank and from a tube of the tank of GUR liquid.
  7. Turn out a bolt and lift the receiver ATF coolings from a forward stretcher.
  1. Establish an elevating hook of the engine, tighten its fixing bolts with effort of 19.5 Nanometers and hang out the engine.

Engine posting by way, excellent from described is not allowed above.


  1. Remove draft of fastening of the engine and the right basic arm of No. 2 engines.
  1. Turn out 8 bolts and remove support of a forward stretcher.
  1. Having made sure that the power unit more connects nothing with a car body, lower the power unit together with a stretcher from an impellent compartment, trying not to touch any components thus.
  2. Remove from the engine the pump GUR (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering).
  3. Turn out 4 bolts and remove the forward stabilizer of a suspension bracket.
  4. Disconnect GUR hose from a tube, turn out two bolts and a nut and remove assembly of the steering mechanism with drafts (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out three bolts of fastening of a forward support of the engine (5) to a forward stretcher (No. 10).
  2. Turn out 4 bolts and remove a quencher of fluctuations of the engine (No. 7).
  3. Turn out 4 bolts of fastening of AT to the left support of the power unit.
  4. Give a nut of a back arm of fastening of the engine (No. 6) to a back support of the power unit and remove a forward stretcher.
  5. Turn out on 4 bolts and remove from the engine a forward support and a back arm.
  6. Separate AT from the engine (see. Head Automatic transmission and interaxal differential).

Check of support and installation of the power unit

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check a condition of a forward support of the engine. For this purpose by means of the manual vacuum pump create depression of 0.8 atm and hold it about a minute. Make sure that indications of the vacuum gage do not change, and also in absence of leakages of liquid through a support diaphragm.
  2. Check a chain of VSV of a support of the engine – at temperature the 20th hail. resistance between contacts of the VSV socket should be no more than 18 ÷ 22 Ohm. At the same time conductivity should be absent between each of contacts and the VSV case.
  1. Check serviceability of functioning of VSV of a support of the engine – in the absence of tension on contacts VSV air should leave unions G and E, and in the presence of tension 12 In – from unions F and E.
  1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Tighten all fixture with demanded efforts.
  2. At installation of the right basic arm No. 2 and draft of fastening of the engine at first tighten their fixture by hand, then tighten A bolt with effort of 64 Nanometers, and then tighten other bolts with demanded efforts.
