 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure internal diameter of a brake disk. Compare the received values to requirements of Specifications of Head Brake system and if necessary replace a disk. It is necessary to replace a disk and at existence on it mechanical damages or non-uniform wear.
  1. Measure a gap between the intermediate lever and a boot of the parking brake and compare the received value to requirements of Specifications of Head Brake system. If necessary adjust a gap, having picked up a suitable washer (see. Specifications Brake system).
  1. Take by means of a screw-driver an adjusting washer and a washer with a cut. Establish an adjusting washer of the demanded thickness, and then by means of nippers establish the lever and a washer with a cut. Again check a gap between the intermediate lever and a boot of the parking brake.

Dismantling and assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a back wheel, turn out two bolts of fastening of a bracket of a support and remove assembly of the back brake mechanism then reliably fix it in the suspended situation.

Do not overwind and do not load a brake hose.


  1. Remove a brake disk.

If it is not possible to remove a disk, turn a regulator of boots so that the wheel could rotate freely.

  1. Remove two returnable springs of boots by means of nippers.
  2. Disconnect a coupling spring from a forward boot.
  3. Shift a forward boot and remove a regulator.
  4. Remove a rasporny plate with a spring.
  5. Remove saddles of clamping springs, springs and the holder of a back brake boot.
  6. Disconnect a cable of a drive of the parking brake from the intermediate lever.
  7. Assembly is made upside-down. Grease with high-temperature greasing the components designated by shooters.
  1. After installation of the parking brake adjust a gap of its boots. For this purpose:
    • Temporarily establish wheel nuts;
    • Turn out a stopper from a brake disk;
    • Turning a regulator, dissolve boots before blocking of a brake disk;
    • Return a regulator on 8 labels in the opposite direction and screw a stopper.
  1. Earn extra brake boots with a disk. For this purpose squeeze out a pedal of the parking brake with effort of 147 N and in this situation be passed on the car on distance about 400 m with a speed about 50 km/h. Repeat this procedure 2-3 times.
